If you seek revenge, this doesn’t necessarily make you a “closed minded conservative” and if you turn the other cheek, it doesn’t make you a “bleeding heart liberal.”

I’m just curious and would like some examples. *Personal examples preferred* This isn’t really a political question, even though I used politics as a way to show that I’m open to offbeat answers.

Violence these days against deserving individuals is discouraged and alot of times unlawful, yet some people’s negative behavior does not stop unless someone does something to put them in their place. So, the question is the how did you got even with a person you know did you wrong and what was the result?
The higher road or being forgiving does not always work. Some people just don’t care and if not kept in check, will treat you and everyone else worse as time goes on. The question deals with such individuals.
Come on people, I need examples of how you stood up for your self when dealing with such jerks. I know you got it in you some where.

This question was asked a while back and was recieved in a not to fun way, but I’m asking again because I have doubts about the cause and effects of such requests.
There are these people who have been making my life a living hell and I’ve done everything within human means to stop them, but I have failed at that. These people, or this particular person is arrogant, mean and a sadist. This person needs to have something bad happen to them. I need and want revenge but I am not capable of doing it myself, so I need a vengence demon.

Is it wrong for me to wish that this person or group that’s been very mean to me to have all of their friends die a horrible death? Or is it wrong to wish that this person who is making my life hell to wake up one morning to find out the he has cancer and that he only has 2 months to live? I am so angry right now that I need vengence, and if the lord God won’t give me what I want. I need to invoke a vengence demon to even the balance in misery.

Am I wrong?
